At Franklin Art Glass Studios we offer beginning classes on
stained glass. Our class teaches the beginning techniques
and fundamentals of stained leaded glass. When the class is
finished students will have knowledge of both copper foil
and lead techniques. Students will have 3 completed projects
by the end of the class session. This is a beginner’s class
only.
Class Schedule:
First Evening
Introduction and tour
Discussion of materials and tools
Introduction to glass cutting
Second Evening
Lead technique - "Owl" Project
Introduction to foil technique
Third Evening
Copper foil technique - "Fan-Light" Project
Fourth Evening
Discussion of measuring an opening and reinforcement of
stained glass
Lead Technique - "Mirror" Project

will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:00pm to 8:00pm,
beginning September 23 and ending October 14.
