Crystal Opals The translucent, almost ghostly quality of Crystal Opals distinguishes them from more common opalescent products. The glass gathers and disperses light like the crystal for which it is named.
All Crystal Opals are part of the System 96® family, of tested compatible products for the hot glass arts: blowing, casting, fusing, and torch work. Designed and produced to work together both technically and artistically, the System 96 line is made by Spectrum Glass and Uroboros Glass.
[NOTE: All stated dimensions of sheet glass are approximate. Because of the unique process and conditions of manufacturing art glass, the sheets are not perfectly square, nor are the sizes exact. Unless noted otherwise all sheet glass is approximately 1/8" thick.]
