Morton Strong Line (25 ft.) A thin (.020″) coppered steel strip, used to greatly increase the strength of copper foil or lead channel. The strip height, about the same as most glass, is .114″ thick. The strong line fits lead channel and can be used on both sides for reinforcement. Package contains 25 feet.

Why use Strong Line?
Most people use Strong Line to eliminate external bars. How much can be eliminated is a tough question because it depends on the size, design and intended installation of your panel. Remember to error on the side of stronger.
