Outer Bars with a seam at the middle of the channel permit a slight spread of the channel. This channel has the adjustable channel. Outer Bars provide border support and additional rigidity to any stained glass panel, regardless of the medium used in the interior of the panel (zinc, brass, copper, lead, copper foil, etc.)

*Zinc, Brass, Lite Brass, and Copper channels come in six foot lengths. When shipped, these channels are packed into a box considered by UPS as an oversized box. Oversize Box orders incur additional fees ($10.00 boxing plus UPS’s Additional Handling Fee of $18.50 – total: $28.50).

To avoid the boxing charge, UPS’s additional handling fees, and to lower shipping costs, 6 ft. length pieces can be cut down to (3) 24″ pieces. A maximum of (12) 6 ft. length pieces can be cut down per order. Please add this request into the notes when placing order and we will manually adjust the shipping and boxing fees after the order is submitted and before payment is collected.

The minimum shipping weight for an oversized box is 11 lbs.
