Shipping and Processing

Q: How are items shipped?
A: Franklin Art Glass normally ships orders via UPS or the U.S. Post Office. If you would like faster delivery most items may be delivered via Next Day Air or Second Day Air. During online order checkout you will be provided with shipping options and estimated shipping charges. A few items, such as architectural glass & large kilns can be delivered by freight ONLY. Items requiring freight delivery will be specified in the product's description. Franklin receives very competitive freight rates that are passed on to you.

*For International customers, please see the "International Shipping" section below.
Q: How much do you charge for shipping?
A: Basic shipping and processing charges depend on the destination and the weight of your order, as well as the delivery method you choose. For faster shipping, you may choose UPS Next Day, Second Day Air, and 3 Day Select Delivery for most orders. During the checkout process you will be given these shipping options (if applicable) and shown an ESTIMATE of the shipping charges at the time of check out.

You will be charged actual shipping costs after check out and before your order is shipped. Should the shipping costs total less than the estimated amount you will be charged the lesser (actual) cost. Should the shipping costs exceed the estimate, you will be contacted by email or phone to receive your authorization for the additional amount.

*Estimates for orders that require shipping by Freight are NOT shown online. Our sales department will contact you directly by email or phone with your actual Freight shipping costs. To request a Freight estimate before placing your order, please contact Franklin Art Glass.

*For International customers, please see the "International Shipping" section below.
Q: What are boxing charges and when do they apply?

Actual boxing & shipping charges will be added to your order after checking out. Please note that we cannot mix small or medium glass pieces in a large box. The size differential of the glass pieces creates undue breakage. Please call us with any questions you have. We will be happy to assist you.
